Is this Knot networking?

This week the Toadlet networking library, Knot, has finally undergone some impressive rewrites. The underlying differences between the varying operating systems, both desktop and mobile, have finally been completely buried in a clean and elegant interface (and yes this includes bluetooth; when available). Just yesterday I was tossing bouncing blocks between my Windows Mobile powered Mogul, and a linux desktop located in Iowa, both running identical code. Very sweet stuff indeed.

Improvements like this couldn't come at a better time. These days, almost anyone who actually uses a smartphone has unlimited data. Many carriers won't sell a new smartphone without it. And now it's far easier for us to take advantage of always-on devices. Look for some exciting new work from the Toad's team in the very near future.
